Description
An inline pressure balance expansion joint absorbs axial movement while internally canceling out pressure thrust, so the pipeline’s own anchors don’t need to resist that force.
It works by combining a flow bellows with a balancing bellows of larger diameter connected via tie rods, so the pressure thrust forces balance each other internally rather than pushing outward on anchors and supports.
Engineered per project pressure and movement requirements, in stainless steel or carbon steel construction.
